Background Tissue remodeling is a crucial characteristic of chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS). Imbalance between matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) and tissue inhibitors (TIMPs) for the pathologic in CRS. Elevation interleukin (IL)-19 or MMP-9 levels patients with CRS had been proven previous studies. Here, we aimed to investigate role IL-19 mediating expression Methods Nasal samples were collected from 45 individuals having nasal polyps (CRSwNP), 24 without (CRSsNP), 17 controls. Expression IL-19, its receptors (IL-20R1/IL-20R2), investigated using RT-qPCR Immunofluorescence (IF). Human epithelial cells (HNECs) stimulated by IL-19; ERK phosphorylation, nuclear factor-?B (NF-?B) pathway activation, level detected RT-qPCR, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, western blot, IF. We also explored effect type1/2/3 cytokines on production blot. Results increased tissues CRSwNP compared those CRSsNP as well significantly elevated HNECs.
